We really loved our stay! The house is very spacious and cozy, perfect for relaxing and spending time indoors. The surrounding forest creates a peaceful and private atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our time there, and it’s also a huge plus that the house is very close to the ski resort. We would happily stay here again!

Such a beautiful house in a tucked away little forested area. The kitchen was incredibly spacious and it had tons of lounging areas. The amount of beds make it perfect for a large family gathering. Hot tub was such a benefit during the cold nights. I’m definitely planning to book again!
As another side note, there’s a backup generator for those winter storm power outages!

Fern cottage is a quaint, cozy space set in a peaceful forest surrounding. The interior is decorated beautifully with so much attention to detail, this is not your average Airbnb. A Big comfy sofa in front of the fireplace with a cute Christmas tree made this space so cozy. The bed is lovely with high quality linens and lots of pillows. Kandra is friendly and quick to respond. It’s apparent she really takes pride in sharing this space with guests. This was a wonderful stay and we will return. Thanks Kandra!

Our family had the best Christmas at Fern Cottage! We looked for the perfect place to stay for Christmas and Fern Cottage was exactly what we wanted. The place is more beautiful in person and is as the pictures show. Everything was clean and well cared for. Instructions were clear. Kandra was a friendly, helpful host. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. We look forward to returning to Fern Cottage.

We celebrated Christmas in this cabin, and it was so cozy and perfect for our family. My teens loved walking the path near the house to the river, and my little niece loved the toys - especially the cardboard house! I loved the wood stove and we all raved about how comfortable the beds were. I made Christmas dinner and the only thing they didn’t have that I needed was a potato masher, but lots of other cooking items available. Overall, we would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Fern Cottage. It is so charming and cozy. The location is great -close to downtown Vancouver and Portland. Everything was as described. The host was very responsive and accommodating. If I ever find myself in this area again I would stay here in heartbeat.

Our family was so pleased with your beautiful home, Kandra. We are all so busy with our daily lives that having a few days to just be together in such a warm, welcoming home gave us the time and place to reconnect. The home is gorgeous, the beds are ultra comfie, the kitchen is well stocked, and the outdoors and hot tub provide the ideal place to unwind. Thank you for allowing us to rent and enjoy your home for our Thanksgiving get away.

We loved it! My friends and I enjoyed so many things about this place:
-its coziness
-the trail (the views!)
-the details, like the frog print in the bathroom
-the hot tub
-the numerous lights
-the many sleeping areas

Great spot to explore Vancouver and Portland! Enjoyed the shuffle board and hot tub. Walkable distance to lots of cafes, breweries and restaurants.
Very clean and well appointed, spa like bathroom. Definitely recommend!
