Nestled in old-growth trees, Fern Cottage feels like a quiet forest retreat... yet is close to all the locals' favorite eateries and amenities! This cozy and unique A-frame house is just a block from Safeway, Starbucks and an axe-throwing bar. Vancouver’s vibrant Uptown Village is an easy, half-mile walk. Downtown Vancouver is one mile south and the new Vancouver Waterfront is less than two miles from Fern Cottage. Get to downtown Portland in about 15 minutes and Portland International Airport is only a 20-minute drive. Fern Cottage features a loft bedroom with a king bed and high-quality linens. Another queen-size murphy bed is adjacent to the living room. Amenities include full kitchen, cooking equipment, spices, a full bathroom, spacious great room with large sectional sofa, gas fireplace and shuffleboard table. Washer/dryer unit located in bathroom. There is a smart TV and WIFI for guest use, as well as board games. The patio and garden feature old-growth trees, string lights, a fountain, gas fire pit, Adirondack chairs and, of course, a relaxing hot tub. There is also a gas BBQ for guest use. Pack-n-play and highchair also available for guest use. Please inquire.
Other Details to Note
We allow 1 well-behaved dog to accompany guests (with pet fee). Please note: the main bedroom is up a staircase, and the bed is low to the ground, in a loft-style frame. The only bathroom is located downstairs.
